Head of Learning and Teaching 

Ms. Nesma Hassan is an educator with more than 16 years of experience in Primary education in different educational systems including the American and IB systems. Ms. Hassan started her journey in education

n in 2007 and is currently working as the Head of Teaching. Ms. Hassan is a certified Concept-based trainer and has a teaching Diploma from AUC. As an IB educator, Ms. Hassan believes that students should always be able to find relevance between what they learn at school and real life. 

The process of learning should start by building on what students already know and what they have experienced and continue as a series of applications in different contexts and reflections that lead to the analysis of findings to reach understandings. 

Ms. Hassan recognizes that such a process requires educating the child as a whole as it involves the development of skills, building character, and involvement in action and real-life application. That is why she is dedicated to implementing the IB Primary Years Program with integrity in order to achieve the purpose of real education.
